Garret brings over 20 years of experience in audit, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. He has worked with all major professional accountancy bodies, including CAI, ACCA, CPA, ICAS, and ICAEW, providing support and regulatory guidance across a broad range of practice areas throughout his career.

Known for his technical expertise, Garret has already made an impact – providing clients with clear, informed support on complex regulatory and financial reporting matters.

Prior to joining AAB, Garret founded Garret Wynne & Co. Limited, where he provided technical support to accounting firms in Ireland. He has also held roles with PwC, OmniPro, and Chartered Accountants Ireland.

While with Chartered Accountants Ireland, Garret served as a Quality Reviewer, conducting on-site visits to member firms. His work involved assessing audit processes and methodologies, including the evaluation of partner judgements on key audit and accounting matters – ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory expectations.

A Chartered Accountant, Garret holds specialist qualifications in IFRS, UK & Irish GAAP, Audit and Assurance, Sustainability Reporting, and Insolvency. In addition to his advisory work, he has delivered CPD and in-house training to firms nationwide, covering key areas of financial reporting and compliance.
