When the business needs to close

Sometimes recovery isn’t possible, or closing the business is the right commercial decision. If so, we’ll help you understand your options and responsibilities.

For insolvent companies, our licensed insolvency practitioners can advise on formal insolvency procedures including Administration, Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL), Court Liquidation and Receivership.

For solvent companies, we can help you decide whether a Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL) or Strike Off is the right way to close your company.

If an MVL is appropriate, our experienced liquidators can manage the process, including dealing with creditors and distributing remaining assets to shareholders.
