A JOURNEY BUILT ON GROWTH AND OPPORTUNITY
My career has been shaped by ambition, adaptability and a willingness to embrace new challenges. Motherhood was a significant turning point in my professional journey, motivating me to find a role that offered both flexibility and the opportunity to work in a global environment.
This led me into the start-up sector, as an Analyst and developed expertise across finance, operations and partner support. As the business evolved, so too did my responsibilities, allowing me to broaden my skillset and build extensive operational experience alongside my financial knowledge.
Today, I combine financial expertise with practical operational leadership, supporting colleagues, partners and business operations across multiple locations.
TURNING CHALLENGES INTO OPPORTUNITIES
One of the biggest challenges in my career was transitioning from a traditional finance and legal background into operations. The move required me to develop an entirely new set of skills, adapt to managing people and processes remotely, and become comfortable making decisions in situations where there wasn’t always a clear roadmap.
Working across multiple stakeholders and business functions pushed me outside my comfort zone, but it also taught me valuable lessons in resilience, adaptability and self-belief. These experiences continue to influence how I approach leadership and problem solving today.
BUILDING TRUST THROUGH COMMUNICATION
For me, effective communication is the foundation of every successful relationship. Whether I’m working with colleagues, clients or partners, I believe that clear expectations, transparency and regular communication are essential to achieving the best outcomes.
Early in my career, I inherited a client relationship that had been affected by previous service challenges. Through consistent communication, transparency and a commitment to delivering on my promises, I successfully rebuilt trust and developed a strong working relationship that lasted for almost two years.
This experience reinforced my belief that most challenges can be overcome through honest communication, understanding and collaboration.
SUPPORTING PEOPLE TO SUCCEED
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is helping others achieve their goals. Whether I’m supporting colleagues, developing team members or creating the operational foundations that allow projects and client work to run smoothly, I enjoy contributing to the success of those around me.
The feedback I value most comes from members of my team who trust me enough to seek guidance, advice and support. Creating an environment where people feel comfortable sharing challenges and asking questions is something I take great pride in.
EXPERTISE IN A FAST-MOVING ENVIRONMENT
Managing cross-border teams brings unique challenges, particularly when working across different time zones, cultures and ways of working. I have developed a strong understanding of how to build effective communication channels, establish clear processes and ensure everyone remains aligned and supported.
My experience has shown that successful operations are built on strong relationships, collaboration and a willingness to continuously improve. By balancing structure with flexibility, I help teams work efficiently while maintaining a positive and supportive culture.
LOOKING AHEAD
As technology continues to reshape the workplace, I am particularly interested in how artificial intelligence can enhance operational efficiency while maintaining the human connection that remains central to successful businesses.
I am excited by opportunities to further develop my operational expertise, embrace new technologies and continue supporting the growth of both people and businesses in an increasingly connected world.
ENABLING SUCCESS BEHIND THE SCENES
Reliability, collaboration and a genuine commitment to helping others succeed are qualities that define my approach. Whether I’m supporting colleagues in the UK and India, streamlining processes or ensuring operational excellence behind the scenes, my focus remains the same: creating the foundations that allow people, teams and businesses to thrive.
