    How we can help

WE’LL TAKE A LOAD OFF YOUR MIND

With all the demands of running your business, making sure you submit all your business taxes correctly and on time is surely a burden you could do without. On the other hand, you can ill afford to incur HMRC’s penalties for non-compliance. That’s why our accounts and tax compliance services make good business sense.

Our specialist team will take care of all the accounts and tax compliance submissions for your business. As part of our integrated accounts and tax solution, we’ll also keep you up to date with changes in legislation that could impact your business, and ensure you continue to comply.

NOT JUST COMPLIANCE, BUT ADDING VALUE

You’ll have the support of our experienced team led by a dedicated client service manager. Drawing on their extensive experience of supporting small businesses, they’ll proactively explore all beneficial tax planning opportunities, provide practical business advice and set up regular strategy review meetings to help grow your business and maximise your returns.

We’ll compile your annual accounts and tax returns together and check everything is correctly in place before submitting them. The aim is always to save you the time and worry associated with accounts and tax compliance, and let you focus on running your business.

HOW WE HELP

Our service prepares and submits the relevant accounts and returns for:

VAT

VAT rules are complex, making compliance a challenge. We make sure your VAT returns are correct, that you’re claiming wherever possible and not overpaying.

PAYE

HMRC is increasingly keen on PAYE audits, which can catch out those unsure of the regulations. Our PAYE expertise ensures compliance and takes the pressure off you.

Employer National Insurance Contributions (ENICs)

We’ll check your Class 1 NI contributions are in order; for example not making employee’s deductions for workers over state retirement age.

Limited company accounts

We’ll take care of your Company Tax Return and full Statutory Annual Accounts, and submit them to Companies House and HMRC.

Corporation Tax

While completing your company tax return, we’ll work out how much Corporation Tax you’ll need to pay and remind you to pay it by the 9 month and 1 day deadline.

Sole Trader accounts and Self-Assessment Tax

We’ll tell you how much tax you owe, and prepare and submit your tax return on time.

LLP accounts and SA800 Partnership tax

We’ll prepare and submit your LLP’s Annual Accounts, Confirmation Statement and SA800 Partnership Tax return, as well as your own Self-Assessment Return.

PREPARED AND PROACTIVE

We understand that paying tax is always a concern and the potential penalties for failing to make the correct submissions to HMRC just adds to the pressure. Our experience in dealing with HMRC and the care we take in ensuring everything is submitted accurately will be welcome reassurance.

Our approach is proactive, communicative and collaborative. By planning well in advance, we can prepare your submissions methodically and precisely, eliminating any last-minute rush. We’ll make sure our team members are available when you need us. When we have suggestions or need to ask questions, we’ll do so in plain English, not jargon. The emphasis is on clear, timely communication and providing consistently dependable, exceptional support.

FLEXIBLE AND AFFORDABLE

Many smaller businesses rely on us to deal with their accounts and tax compliance, and regard it as money well spent. They know our specialist knowledge of making submissions to Companies House and HMRC means we can fulfil this function efficiently and complete the filings appropriately.

Our team is flexible, working around your project deadlines so you can take full advantage of transferring your accounts and compliance workload to us. The time you gain allows you to be more business-focused, productive and profitable. Clients who use our service tell us  they feel more confident about how their business is complying and that they’re in safe hands.

  • I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending AAB to anyone else who, like us, may be struggling to get the expert advice required, especially when it involves coming back to the UK and managing tax aspects on overseas income and assets.

    John Bannerman

  • I cannot recommend AAB highly enough from my extensive experiences of their services which has included dissolving a partnership, becoming a sole trader and then subsequently incorporating the business, tax and general accountancy service and advice.

    Stephen Bonsor, The Dental Practice

  • The reason why we have such a long standing working relationship with AAB is because from the very outset they made a conscious effort to really understand our business. We have always found AAB to be highly professional, competent and skilled.
