AAB Group / Our Team / Feargal McCormack
Everyone from sole traders to major international corporations, and not for profit organisations.
Empower colleagues and clients to be future ready by delivering business growth and wealth solutions which help them achieve their lifetime ambitions.
Family business.
Feargal McCormack is managing partner island of Ireland of AAB. In Feargal’s role he is responsible for executing AAB’s strategy and ensuring the business units in Ireland are aligned. He places great importance on enabling the AAB team to go the extra mile and provide great client service.
Feargal has received Honorary Doctorate degrees from both Queen’s University and Ulster University for his contribution to economic regeneration and the broader community. Alongside helping businesses succeed Feargal has held senior leadership responsibilities across a variety of businesses, not-for-profit, sporting, community, and church organisations including President of Chartered Accountants Ireland 2018/19.
“I believe that leadership is centred around agility, embracing technology and changing market conditions and the ability to deliver change. Technology is one of the key drivers of change within businesses. It’s never been more imperative that businesses embrace the digital revolution to survive. Technology is driving change in AAB and for our clients. We get to see first-hand how technology can enhance not only client engagement but also the client experience.”
“I gain much satisfaction from being able to make a difference for clients and enhancing their success. How do I achieve this? By becoming their most trusted business advisor. That means really getting to know my clients, getting to know their families, and understanding their goals and wants. It means being there every step of their business journey and being in the room when strategic decisions are being made.”
“One of my core priorities when I founded FPM in 1991 was to empower colleagues and clients to be future ready. That hasn’t changed. Nothing is more important than our people, they are our most vital resource. I am responsible for leading, mobilising and energising our people and it’s something that I’m very passionate about. Seeing other people succeed gives me great satisfaction.”
FPM rebranded to AAB in July 2024.
