AAB Group / Our Team / Elisha Paul
Meet the Audit & Assurance team
SMEs.
Audit and assurance services.
Charity. Public Sector. Business services.
Based in Belfast, Elisha Paul is an assistant manager in our Audit team. Elisha’s role involves planning and delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services for her SME clients based in a variety of sectors, including Not for Profits, public sector bodies, and providers of professional services. This involves overseeing and supporting the team through the audit process to ensure agreed deadlines are met in a timely manner, and with a quality that exceeds client expectations.
“In my opinion, a good relationship with a client is about developing a really solid foundation built on clear communication, trust, and mutual respect. They know I’ll always do my utmost to assist them and their business in whatever way I can, and I know they’ll come to me if they have any worries, queries or concerns.
We can help clients with any business management or financial questions they might have or support they might need, and thanks to the trust built over time, they know they can come to us with any questions or issues that they might be facing. It becomes a real pleasure to see them grow and develop their business.”
“Clients expect high-quality services that are delivered on time and on budget – and that goes for anyone providing any service in the AAB Group. They expect openness, honesty, accurate information, and a commitment to helping them achieve their goals. They know that even if someone at AAB doesn’t have all the answers, we will know someone who does, and we’ll endeavour to find those answers for their client or make a recommendation for who can assist them best.”
“I think what I enjoy most about AAB is that it doesn’t matter where you come from or what department you’re in, everyone at all levels works together as a team to achieve the best possible outcome that they can for their clients. They want to get the job done, and they want it to be done to a high standard.”
“I think the way in which virtual working has developed over the past number of years has provided greater efficiency as well as flexibility for our clients, and allows for work to move at a much faster pace. However, a more ‘hands-on’ approach with in-person meetings does really help to cultivate strong relationships, so ultimately I believe that the different methods of communication bring their own benefits and complement each other.”
“I look forward to continuing to enjoy my career at AAB through further development and progression, as well as helping colleagues and clients on their journey through life. In addition to this, I am excited to be a part of an expanding and growing group that strives to embrace the tech-enabled environment. I believe this will provide a plethora of growth opportunities for team members and clients alike, and I look forward to continuing to take on and overcome challenges for my clients.”
“The biggest strengths that I bring to AAB are my strong communication skills, my strategic mindset, and my proactive approach to driving efficiency.”
“I often get compliments from clients regarding my communication skills. The best client relationships involve carefully listening to clients so that you can thoroughly understand their goals and help to make them a reality. Going above and beyond to exceed client expectations and consistently adding value is essential in establishing a really positive long-term relationship. And I believe that having regular, clear communication is absolutely key to maintaining this relationship.”
“We’re passionate about adding value. Accountants are often seen as boring number-crunchers, but the reality is that we care about a lot more than just the numbers, it’s truly the people and businesses behind the numbers that bring them to life and make a real difference. We are genuinely interested in getting to know about the client we are serving, and we’re passionate about giving them the best service possible. AAB Group lives by the core principle that clients are our passion, this filters through to how we deliver for our clients.”
