“An ideal relationship with a client is one with reciprocal trust and open dialogue. I love having the opportunity to meet people and make new connections.
We come across so many talented and interesting people in our line of work; entrepreneurs, investors, and company directors to name but a few. It is a privilege to work with our clients, learning from their expertise whilst helping them achieve their goals through our own.
From a team standpoint, we are very fortunate to have such knowledgeable and personable team members across the group. Allowing me to draw upon expertise and connections across business units and geographies. Great mentors and a strong leadership team also help to motivate and encourage professional development and support me in growing as a person and a trusted advisor.”
“I enjoy connecting with clients and the team. I find it easier to build relationships through face-to-face interactions however, virtual platforms have allowed us to better collaborate intra-office, connect with overseas investors, and perform services for clients in other jurisdictions. I think when you have a good relationship with a client, they are more willing to come to you and it allows for an open dialogue and I have found this has helped me to find a solution to issues which arise.”
“Clients have high standards and expect our input to be professional, informed, and of quality. As a full-service practice, our clients know that they can lean on us throughout the lifecycle of their business. They want us to be adaptable, to find solutions to complex problems, and be committed to helping them achieve their goals.”
“Due to the nature of business advisory and consultancy services, no two days are the same. We are constantly adapting and learning, there is no boilerplate template for problem-solving.
As part of the AAB Group, we are very fortunate to have such a variety of expertise across our business units enabling us to solve any problem. If a client presents a problem that I don’t have the requisite expertise to solve, I can connect them to someone within the firm who I trust will be as committed as I am at helping that client get the advice they need.”
“I believe I am a good listener with a focus on building relationships with my clients and colleagues through open and upfront dialogue. This approach allows me to get to the root of the problem and ensure that I add maximum value.
Adaptability is also essential in my role. As someone relatively new to the Consultancy team, I have had to work hard to learn quickly to ensure that I can support my teams and deliver for our clients.”
“I am excited to see where our growth journey can take us as a group and in my own career journey. I joined AAB in 2023 and the field of work was quite a change from my past role. I am excited to embrace new challenges as opportunities and learn from the people and experiences at AAB.”
